Title: Rehabilitation Technician www.prmpractice.com Keywords: Athletic Trainer, Physical Therapy Aide, Physical Therapy Assistant, Certified X-Ray Technician, KinesiologyJob Type: Full-TimeSchedule: Monday - Thursday 8 AM to 4:30 PM Friday 8 AM to 2:30 PM (Somewhat flexible)Salary: 18-22$ per hour depending on qualificationsBenefits Available Competitive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance with employer contributions 401K and Profit Sharing after one year of loyal service Paid Holidays & Paid Time Off after new hire period Qualifications: Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education/experience (required) One or more of the following certifications (Preferred) Certified/Licensed Athletic Trainer PTA License X-ray Technician - Certified Background in Kinesiology Previous Experience (2 years or more preferred) CPR Certification (Required) *If not currently certified will be required upon hire* Job Description (training on operation will be provided upon hire): Operate and maintain state of the art DRX 9000 spinal decompression machine Operate and maintain Class IV Lightforce laser therapy modality Ability to understand and demonstrate ergonomic and biomechanical movements Accurately record EMR data using Azalea Provide quality patient care and have ability to answer patient questions, comments, or concerns during appointments Understand and follow processes/protocols with equipment Set patient appointments Field phone calls and answer patient questions as needed Collaborate with other office staff to provide optimal patient outcomes. Assist with lumbar and knee brace fitting Requirements: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong educational foundation of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer software applications Proficiency using EMR applications (experience with Azalea preferred) Must be detail-oriented and able to follow protocols Must be a team player and able to adapt to situations Must be coachable and be able to both take and provide constructive criticism Strong organizational skills and abilities to manage multiple tasks at once Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work with all populations Strong understanding of time management Ability to understand and explain anatomical functions and descriptions of therapies being provided Ability to answer patient questions in professional scientific manner Ability to lift 20-50 Lbs. on occasion
