The Business Intelligence team at Abacus Technologies exists to bring visibility and action to all aspects of business data. As the Business Intelligence Analyst, you will work with the Business Intelligence Architects to create and maintain reports that enable our mission. The primary way you will accomplish this is to create and provide reports to clients that turn vital business data into actionable information. The Business Intelligence Analyst I position is an entry level position ideal for someone who has a passion for providing high quality analysis, enjoys working within a cross-functional team and is driven by solving analytical problems. If you are a critical thinker, have strong analytical and communication skills, determined to succeed, and thrive working in a fast-paced environment with a highly collaborative team, then we want to speak to you! Scope of Role: Connect reports to client data sources. Evaluate data quality and maturity. Build reports and visualizations on Key Performance Indicators. Benchmark client metrics to industry trends. Use warehouse data to generate reports to support business decision-making and business performance monitoring. Maintain data analytics platforms. Conduct troubleshooting on Business Intelligence models. Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements. Transform raw unstructured data into useful data structures. Develop content and provide key strategic insights to the Business Intelligence architects and engineers for Business and Metric review meetings. Other duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications: Up to 2 years of work experience involving quantitative data analysis and complex problem solving. Four-year degree or bootcamp certificate in analytics. Superb communication skills with the ability to understand complex issues and how individual tasks work towards a solution. Comfortable with a fast-paced environment with quick pivots. Problem solving and the ability to be coached and directed by other teammates. Eager to continue education. Organized with a keen attention to detail. Proficient with at least two of the following: Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, NoSQL. Experience with Python/R is a plus.
