Assistant Controller responsibilities vary based on your assigned department and clients. Responsibilities include: Review and oversight of Purchasing, Payables, and Payments Review and oversight of Contracts, Projects, Billing, and Cash Receipts Review and oversight of Payroll, Human Capital Management including Time and Expense System Support Review and oversight of Treasury and Cash Reconciliation Preparation and review of Income and Compliance Taxes Review and oversight of Small Business Accounting Project Costing and Controls preparation and oversight Preparation and Review of full accrual Month-End Close and Reporting Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Management Reporting and KPIs Cash Management Budget and Forecast Preparation Audit Support GovCon Consulting Grant Consulting Special Projects Staff Supervision and Development Client and Stakeholder Support In addition to providing a flexible career track with long-term growth opportunities, you will work alongside the best and brightest finance, accounting, tax, and technology professionals. Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in accounting or a related field from a U.S. institution or eligibility to sit for the CPA 5 - 10 years of accounting experience Solid GAAP understanding Significant tax compliance knowledge preferred GovCon and grant understanding a plus Significant experience with accounting software Advanced Excel and solid data management skills Thrive while meeting challenging deadlines Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills Committed to exceptional client service Possess excellent written and oral communication An interest in developing and supervising staff Wh at You'll Get with ROSE: ROSE is passionate about serving our clients and is dedicated to being a great place to work.
