CNC Steel Bender Operator - 2nd Shift

Primary Purpose: This position requires a multi-faceted individual to handle a variety of tasks. The CNC Bender Operator will be an integral part of the day to day operation of the facility. The position requires a great deal of initiative, flexibility, reliability, patience, and attention to detail as they manage many different tasks. Primary Responsibilities: Programming and operating a draw tube bender Forming pipe from 1-1/2" to 3" in diameter. Additional Responsibilities: This individual may be asked to assist with any other issues that arise in the facility. Qualifications: CNC machining experience Mechanical aptitude Can read and understand part drawings Able to stand for long periods Lift 50 lbs regularly Attention to detail Skilled problem solver Work Environment: The majority of work will be performed in a manufacturing facility with noise levels typical to that environment. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects. The employee is frequently required to walk and must be able to stand for extended periods. The employee must be able to lift and/or move objects up to 40 pounds, usually to waist high. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision. The employee is frequently required to talk and must be able to hear. Certifications/Licenses: None Travel: Minimal if any.
