JHNA Technology Security is currently seeking a Technical Writer/Editor t o support our government customer at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, MD. The position is not open to remote work due to the nature of the work. The Technical Writer/Editor will support a Navy Virtual Systems Command with the development of instructions, manuals, guides, and templates. The Technical Writer/Editor will also support the review, comment, resolution, formatting and routing of various technical reports and studies, Contract Deliverables, proposals, white papers, and other documents as assigned. JHNA is a Digital Engineering firm focused on providing engineering and technical services primarily to DoD's Aviation communities. JHNA is a critical partner to these communities providing MBSE, MOSA, and platform security (cyber and anti-tamper) support. Duties/Responsibilities: Draft, review, edit, format and route instructions, manuals, guides, templates, reports, studies, proposals, white papers, and other technical documents as assigned Ensure documents are properly marked with classification and handling instructions Requirements: 5 or more years of experience with technical writing/editing and a high school diploma. An allowable substitution is 2 years of experience in technical writing/editing and an Associate's Degree. Strong proficiency with MS Office Top Secret Clearance
