Job Overview: FAR GROUP is looking provide housekeeping services for VA Black Hills Healthcare System, at the VA Fort Meade, SD Job Details: · Job Title : Janitor/ Housekeeper · Location: VA Fort Meade, 113 Comanche Rd, FORT MEADE, SD 57741 · Schedule: Full time & Part time, 06 00Am -02 30Pm or 02 00Pm -10 30Pm or 10 00Pm - 06 30Am Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities: Duties include, but are not limited to, cleaning restrooms, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, etc. Clean Ceilings; free of dust and spots; paint intact; vents clean and free of dust and lint; light bulbs operable; all ceiling tiles in place. Clean floors, free of dust, lint, and stains; no floor finish build-up or accumulation of soil in corners; free of heel and scuff marks; free of discoloured floor finish; high luster. Housekeeping Closets - Orderly; sink clean; floors and walls clean; equipment clean; door locked; no boxes on floors; no storage within 18" of ceiling; no personal items. Equipment - Clean, polished, stored properly. Filters, brushes, batteries checked and serviced properly, cords and hardware tight and intact. Drinking Fountains - Stainless steel free of spots and streaks. Washing windows, - Clear and clean, not in need of immediate washing; frame clean; glazing intact, clean; paint in good condition. Clean air conditioning vents and fans Empty/Clean interior and exterior trash receptacles, etc.
