DirectViz Solutions, (DVS) is a rapidly growing government contractor that provides strategic services that meet mission IT needs for government customers. DVS is sourcing for a Content Developer for a new opportunity in support of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This position is located in the National Capital Region and requires a current DHS suitability or an active Secret clearance. Content Developer Position Responsibilities: Design, monitor, and implement improvements in response to new requirements, changes in IT security policy, security issues, and bug fixes. Establish troubleshooting procedures and documents solutions to common problems for reference by other specialists. Implement and maintain web-based content experiences - including web pages, heroes, carousels, scrollers, modals, alerts, and more - in collaboration with stakeholders and product teams. Work within established content and design guidelines, standards, and best practices. Provide technical editing - including proofreading, grammar, and punctuation - to ensure accuracy in all site content. Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Actual hours may vary depending on mission requirements. Travel: Required Qualifications: Years of Experience: At least five years of experience in developing, implementing and managing ArcSight ESM correlation rules and content. Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Information Technology or related disciplines; or have equivalent and direct experience in developing, implementing and managing ArcSight ESM correlation rules and content. Certification: Attendance and completion of Advanced ArcSight ESM Content and Correlation classes is required. Clearance Requirements: SECRET Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills and must be capable of the understanding, documenting, communicating and presenting technical issues in a non-technical manner to audiences with varying degrees of technical expertise. Must have demonstrated ability to build and implement event correlation rules, logic, and content in the security information and event management system with specific experience in the Arcsight ESM environment. Must have demonstrated ability to tune the SIEM event correlation rules and logic to filter out security events associated with known and well established network behavior, known false positives and/or known errors. Must have experience maintaining an event schema with customized security severity criteria. Must have experience creating scheduled and ad-hoc reporting with SEIM tools. Must possess a thorough and in-depth understanding of SEIM technologies and event collector deployments in the Windows and Linux operating environments. Applicants may be required to show proof of a COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card to be eligible for employment at some work sites.
