DUTIES: Under the direction of the Police Chief and/or his designee performs a variety of full performance security and courtroom processing tasks specific to maintaining courtroom order and ensuring that courtroom processes are adhered to; serve as security officer for the protection of court personnel and facilities. QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a minimum of three years of experience as a Utah Law Enforcement Officer or retired Law Enforcement Officer and certifiable as a Utah Law Enforcement Officer.Requires graduation from high school or its equivalent and POST certifications or certifiable with the State of Utah as a Peace Officer-Law Enforcement Officer. Post-high school education is preferred. Must possess and maintain a valid Utah Driver's License and have a good driving record. SALARY: $16.42 to $20.68 (depending on experience) SCHEDULE: Hours will vary based on availability and court needs.
