Job Location: Canyon Fuel Company Overall Job Purpose: Canyon Fuel Company, LLC, a subsidiary of Wolverine Fuels, operates two underground coal mines in central Utah and has an immediate opening for a full-time Mine Engineer. Preferred Education & Experience: Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Engineer in Training (EIT) Proficient understanding of engineering principles (soil/rock mechanics, steel design, hydraulics/pump networks, ventilation, conveyors, electricity, economics) Excellent computer skills (AutoCAD, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple projects and budgeted accounts Preferred Qualifications: Professional Engineer License (PE) Project Management Professional Certificate (PMP) Experience in underground continuous and longwall mining methods Position reports to: Engineering Manager Wolverine Fuels offers a competitive benefits package including Medical with an HSA, Dental, Vision, RX, Company provided life and AD&D, Paid Holiday/Vacations, and EAP along with a 401K and a 6% company match.
