Faith-based family health care center seeking a Mission-oriented COO to join our growing and transitioning practice. The Chief Operating Officer has the overall responsibility for the operations of East Liberty Family Health Care Center (ELFHCC) under the direction of the CEO. This position is responsible for the management of operations in compliance with HRSA's 21 Chapters for FQHC's and assures that activities and/or operations at the Health Center are appropriately integrated into the strategic plan for ELFHCC. We have attracted many of the best leaders from UPMC Health System and Allegheny Health Network for health care delivery in the east end of Pittsburgh. We have partnered for research with organizations such as RAND Corporation. The staff of the East Liberty Family Health Care Center is a Christ-centered community. It is a Federally Qualified Health Center" with multiple providers delivering medical and dental care. The East Liberty Family Health Care Center has been recognized by the Health Resources and Services Administration for quality of care provided in our three locations. Approximately 40,000 encounters are provided per year for 9,000 patients. Services provided include: adult and pediatric primary care; asthma, diabetes and blood pressure control programs; dental care; drug and alcohol outreach; homebound elderly outreach; homeless outreach; OBGYN services; pastoral care; psychology and counseling services. QUALIFICATIONS Master's Degree or MBA or Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years' experience in the healthcare field. Experience working for an FQHC preferred 5+ Progressive Health Care Management experience 5+ years of supervisory or administrative experience Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for operations at all ELFHCC facilities, including both provider and ancillary staff to ensure performance goals are met. Directly supervise, Medical Records Director, Director of Quality and Risk Management, , Facilities Manager and Behavioral Health Program Manager. Point person for the ELFHCC Pharmacies and 340B Program, including the consultant 340B Compliance Partners. Strategic management of the Patient Centered Medical Home application and recognition process. Assistance with HRSA UDS submissions. Ensure compliance with HRSA's 21 Chapters. Assist with HRSA On Site visit preparations. Assist with FTCA and federal grant applications (SAC, SAC-AA). Ensure accurate and continuous data collection for reports required by HRSA, and grant funders. Prepare performance reports for the CEO. Serve on ELFHCC Committees as directed. COMPENSATION: Salary range commensurate with education and experience.
