MDW is looking for a mid-level Defense Travel System Analyst to support our F-35 Joint Strike Fighter customer in Arlington, VA or Crystal City, VA. The Analyst will perform a combination of some or all of the following duties: A ss i st t he F - 3 5 JPO b y pro vi ding general bu s ine ss tra v el guidance , Defense Tra v el Sys tem (DTS ) s upport , JPO AF a nd Na vy government tra v el charge card ( GTCC ) program o v er s igh t / t raining , and the AF central billing a ccount to t he JPO government t ra v eler Prepare , re v ie w, and monitor tra v el au t horization s, v oucher s , and loc a l v oucher s . Re v ie w and recommend v oucher payment s, performs w eekl y a udit s of tra v el obligations , expenditure s , and un - s ubmitted v oucher s Maintain a clo s e w orking relationship w ith tra v el Appro v ing Offic i al s to ensure timel y appro v al of order s A ss i st in re s ol v ing pa y ment a nd funding di s crepanc i e s w i t h each Team a nd t r av eler s Create ne w profile s for ne w per s onnel , update profile s w hen change s occur , a nd delete profile s upon departure of per s onnel Pro vi de periodic written update s on tra v el expenditure s , tra v el frequenc y , GT C us a ge Required Skills/Experience: A minimum one (1) year of total business process experience in ei t her a DoD Weapon System Program Office or equivalent commercia l setting is required Working knowledge of Defense Join t Tra vel Regulations and Department of Defense Financia l Management Regulations as they relate t o travel (i.e. , Vo l 5, Chs 3 and 8 , Vo l 9 Ch 22) and demonstrate the ability t o research such regula t ions rules to ob ta in special allowances or authoriza t ions from appropriate offices Experience with the Defense Tra vel System (DTS) and government t ravel charge card systems - US C i ti bank Commercial Card Sys t em and Central Billing Accounts Education Requirements: Degree in B us ine ss Management or related di s cipline or Associate's Degree plus 4 years of additional related work experience required Clearance Requirements: Candidates for this position must currently possess a DoD Secret Security Clearance or higher Company Description Incorporated in 2012, MDW is a small business headquartered in Washington, DC with employees in various locations in the United States.
