EVENTS TECHNICIAN - ACE DIVISION Department: Community and Economic Development Division: Arts, Culture, and Events Work hours: Must be available to work during days, nights, weekend events from May - September. Up to 29 hours per week. Rate of pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour (Depending on qualifications and experience.) GENERAL PURPOSE This position will assist with coordinating public and private events at the Ogden Amphitheater, the Dumke Arts Plaza, Union Station, and various other locations within Ogden City. Receives direct supervision from the Ogden Amphitheater Coordinator. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Two years of customer service experience Two years of experience working with the public Event coordination experience preferred High school diploma or its equivalent SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid Utah driver's license is Food handlers permit from WMHD required after TIPS and SIPS training is preferred and can be obtained after Employee will be required to complete city APPLICATION PROCEDURE On-line applications will be accepted at www.ogdencity.com until filled .
