Coker University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Clinical (Teaching) Faculty of Finance beginning August 2023. This is a full-time, 9-month faculty position with competitive salary and benefits reporting to the Dean of the School of Business. Preferred qualifications include an earned doctorate (ABD and Master's degree will be considered) in business, finance, financial planning, or a related field. Background in teaching face-to-face, online, and hybrid courses is preferred. Candidates should be prepared to teach courses in economics, finance, financial planning, and statistics. Previous relevant industry experience expected. The University is seeking an individual who is passionate about teaching and inclusive pedagogy; dedicated to developing meaningful, collegial working relationships with students, faculty, and staff; who is eager to contribute interests and ideas for new and innovative courses and multidisciplinary programs; and who is committed to actively contributing to Coker's mission. The successful candidate will be expected to advise students, fulfill institutional service obligations, and maintain professional standing in their field. The successful candidate should also be willing to engage in and recruit industry representatives.
