Description:
Function: Provides human resource services for the Credit Union with primary emphasis in areas of human resource policy development, Labor/Union management, wage and salary administration, performance management, employee benefits, recruitment, human resource record keeping, reports and statistics, counseling, orientation and employee training and development programs. Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare, implement and supervise the budget for the department that is consistent with the overall strategic plan and budget of the Credit Union; Develop, apply, and evaluate policies and procedures for the department; Ensure that the human resource policy manual is kept up to date; Recruit and select quality applicants for vacancies, ensuring that the Credit Union is adequately staffed with competent employees. Establish recruiting and placement standards; Develop, implement and monitor the affirmative action program for the Credit Union' Prepare and maintain the human resource file on all employees; Conduct new Credit Union employee orientation; Counsel employees in the interpretation and application of HR policies, procedures and Union Contract; Develop and conduct training and development programs as deemed appropriate for meeting the needs of the staff as well as the objectives set forth for the Credit Union; Advise managers and supervisors on desired personnel actions, offering alternatives; Review, recommend and administer the Credit Union's overall benefits and compensation programs; Develop, maintain and monitor the performance appraisal system for the Credit Union; Maintain knowledge of federal and state employment law; Process, balance and manage weekly payroll, control employee deductions, 401k program, and retirement program; Attend training related sessions; Assist in Safe Act administration; Responsible for the administration of anti-money laundering duties and the Bank Secrecy laws; Job Posted by ApplicantPro
