POSITION SUMMARY Provide customer service by assisting in the packing, loading and unpacking of customers possessions in a safe, timely and efficient manner. Reports To: Operations Dispatcher ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Including but not limited to the following: Maintain a safe working environment; Follow all rules in the Employee Handbook and Safety Handbook; Read and receive instructions; Pack/wrap customers goods safely and securely; Unload/unpack customer goods and place per customers request; Communicate professionally with customers and co-workers; Lift frequently up to 100 pounds and ask for assistance in lifting items that are bulky or excessively heavy or appear to be beyond the employee capability; Carry customers goods on inclines, stairs or long carries utilizing safe lifting techniques to/from the vehicle; Communicate with customer regarding placement of goods and unpacking where required; Ensure paperwork for each move is complete and returned to appropriate member of staff; Clearly mark all contents and condition of each item or carton packed with the client's name, description of item, name of room removed from and packing date; Ability to use all moving equipment safely; Notify and communicate with appropriate member of staff should any problems occur; Work in accordance with training received and relevant procedures; Report all damages and/or injuries in a timely manner; Flexible work schedule; Always maintain confidentiality; any other duties as may be requested by the Company This list is not all inclusive but is meant as a guideline of assorted duties of the job. REQUIREMENTS Minimum 1-2 years of experience Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 100 lbs. Follow directions from Crew Leaders, Dispatcher, and Supervisors Time Management & Organizational Skills Technology savvy and adaptable to new programs and processes Ability to read, understand, and follow all written and verbal directions/documents Pass all Company Pre-Employment Checks DESIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES Strong interpersonal skills with attention to detail Strong results-oriented attitude and willingness to foster growth of others for the good of the company Great time management skills Strong technology Professionalism, Integrity, and Confidentiality Solid Team Player PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to bend, crawl, sit, talk, move about, hear and speak. May be required to work in restricted spaces and/or under difficult lighting and access conditions. Noise level may be high when operating power equipment. Employee may be exposed to outside weather conditions when transporting materials. The employee must be able to lift frequently up to 100 pounds and ask for assistance in lifting items that are bulky or excessively heavy or appear to be beyond the employee capability. Employee is required to properly use such safety equipment as in appropriate to the work to prevent injury to self or other. COMPENSATION Job Type: Full-time Salary: Hourly/Non-Exempt; compensation commensurate with experience and job performance Medical & Dental Aflac Benefits Paid Time Off (per company guidelines) ESOP after vesting period Our company is substance free.
