A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN RN DIRECTOR OF NURSING / RCC As an RN Director of Nursing / RCC, you plan, coordinate, and provide nursing care to our assisted living residents. Responsible for resident assessments and service plans, you meet with family, staff, and outside support as needed to create a service plan individualized to each resident's personal needs. You meet with residents and family members to resolve any issues and are conscientious about properly reporting significant events. You oversee and regularly evaluate programs to measure, assess, and improve the quality of care we're providing. Additionally, you manage our community's medication management program. Our nurses and unlicensed caregiving staff members are trained by you to properly administer and manage medications.You provide training and hands-on support for the staff according to corporate and state guidelines. You also arrange for training from outside vendors as needed. Under your excellent leadership, team members are inspired to take pride in their work and deliver the highest quality of care possible. Always on top of things, you schedule medical aides so that all resident needs are being met 24 hours a day. You also help implement and communicate our policies, procedures, and safety programs to ensure the compliance of all of our staff members. QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN RN DIRECTOR OF NURSING / RCC Must be an RN 2+ years of experience in a care management role Can you show compassion to all our senior residents, their families, and our staff members?
