Oversees the daily operations of the Behavioral Health Older Adult Inpatient Unit: Validates adherence to safety and patient care processes through presence, role-modeling and surveillance activities Facilitates patient throughput by ensuring adequate staff resources Develops staff schedules and assists with payroll processing Participates in employee interviews, orientation, and evaluations Promotes the therapeutic milieu by engaging employees and patients in meaningful positive interactions Assists with the development and implementation of performance improvement activities Maintains relationships with other hospital department leaders to support the goals and success of the organization
