Do you enjoy spending time outdoors, identifying plants, hiking, operating UTVs, and 3-day weekends? If yes, this is the perfect position for you! The Cache County Vegetation Management Division invites qualified and interested candidates to apply for a Seasonal Vegetation Management Technician position. Individuals who are self-motivated, hardworking, and responsible are encouraged to apply. This position will assist with plant identification, GPS mapping, treatment of noxious weeds, and other vegetation control measures. Working in various outdoor environments on private and public lands around Cache County will provide a change in scenery almost daily. This position will also be operating UTVs, driving pickup trucks pulling trailers, and hiking with backpack sprayers to perform chemical weed management practices. This is a full-time, seasonal position working 40 hours per week, Monday-Thursday with occasional Fridays as needed.
