Description:

The IT Help Desk Analyst II is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and support of our IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and workstations. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, possess excellent troubleshooting skills, and have a passion for technology. Essential Accountabilities Provide support for end-users including troubleshooting hardware and software issues Maintain and support servers and network infrastructure Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and applications Perform routine backups and data recovery Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues Assist with IT project implementations Document IT procedures and processes Ensure security of network and systems Minimum Qualifications -Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or 2+ years of experience in a technical support/systems role -Experience with Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, Active Directory, Exchange, and Office 365 -Familiarity with networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs -Experience with desktop support, troubleshooting, and maintenance -Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware Desired Skills -Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other IT staff -Strong communication and interpersonal skills -Good problem-solving skills Position Requirements Work Environment Conditions: Inside (office) Manufacturing - production, warehouse and other support areas Equipment/Tools Used: (office equipment, machinery, tools, software, etc.) Computer, phone, fax, copier, MS Suite, Oracle Physical Requirements: ­­­­ Normal Office Light Work (lift 10 lbs.): Occasionally - computer components Medium Work (lift 11-30 lbs.): Occasionally - computer components Mental Requirements: Reading, Writing, Calculating Interpersonal Skills Reasoning/Analysis Works with Minimal Supervision Other Mental Requirements: Manage multiple priorities Travel Frequency (in addition to seminars or related training): Local: 5 times per quarter Regional: 2 times per quarter National: 1 time per year International: As Required
