RN-Nurse Manager-Clinical Educator/Infection Control Full Time United Hebrew of New Rochelle is seeking a self-motivated and team-oriented nursing leader to assume a full-time RN Nurse Manager to oversee the clinical education and infection control functions. This is an exciting position and key clinical management role, providing leadership, staff support and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure that standards of quality care are achieved on a consistent basis. Some of your daily activities will include the development, implementation, and delivery of the nursing staff development programs including orientation, in-service education, continuing education, competencies, and nursing student experiences. You'll also work with the interdisciplinary team to develop and maintain a system of care that promotes sound and scientific infection prevention principles and practices. Located within a professional, well-appointed skilled nursing facility, convenient to major highways and transportation options this position will have the opportunity to impact the results and outcomes of the facility, enjoy a quality of life in a professional and inviting setting, and be part of the team that leads the facility in achieving its clinical and operating objectives. We are seeking experienced RNs with 5+ years of experience as an RN, with prior experience in an education, infection control, management or similar leadership position strongly preferred. Experience working in a long-term care or post-acute setting a plus; w orking knowledge of microbiology, epidemiology, infectious diseases, aseptic techniques, current practice, CDC guidelines and definitions of nosocomial infections, JCAHO standards and governmental regulations. BSN degree preferred. Experience working with a LMS (learning management system) preferred. Finally, you will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate staff to achieve desired results.
