Position Summary The Assembly Technician will be responsible for progressing the general duties and scope of work assigned by the Corporation. Core Duties and Responsibilities Ability to read, interpret and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assembly instructions Operation of manual hand tools and power tools as required in assembly and validation work Operation of material handling equipment, including manual and electric power jacks Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and problem solving to diagnose system, sub-system, and ancillary component issues in the course of the manufacturing process Follow all environmental health and safety regulations in the course of work; compliance with all OSHA standards Maintain proper housekeeping so as to promote a safe and efficient workplace Must professionally communicate and collaborate with other team members and supervisors Ability to complete manufacturing documentation as required in the course of work Ability to fabricate mechanical parts and sheet metal assemblies using basic machine shop tools Ability to weld aluminum, mild and stainless steel using MIG & TIG process Ability to assemble and troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems Ability to debug and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems Experience constructing and operating test stations used to test mechanical parts such as valves, pumps, fans, etc Must be able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form Ability to read mechanical part drawings a plus Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications and Experience High school diploma or equivalent; vocational education/training is preferred At least one (1) of experience within a manufacturing assembly position; electro-mechanical assembly experience preferred High degree of manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude Comfort operating hand/power tools safely and efficiently Ability to work overtime as assigned and commit to a flexible work schedule around manufacturing demand Ability to operate a computer and perform computer transactions accurately Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office software programs Quality focused and detail-oriented Team player with a positive communication style Ability to stand and/or and sit for long periods of time in performance of job functions Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted *Must be able to undergo a drug screening and background check prior to employment.* Starting Salary: $18 - $20/hourly What We Offer An opportunity to work with the best of the best, assisting with accounting duties.
