Silicon Forest Electronics, Inc. in Vancouver, WA is looking to hire a full-time Inspector for swing shift . Are you able to work independently as well as with a team? As an Inspector, you play a key role in our production output. You inspect Inspect assemblies to the drawing and documentation specifications as you closely follow instructions and apply uncompromising standards of excellence. As you inspect your work and the work of others, you ensure that all finished products meet or exceed the given standards. Using the manufacturing execution system (MES), you track the status of jobs. You continually look for ways to improve our efficiency. Your high energy and attention to detail are essential to the success of the production team. QUALIFICATIONS 2+ years of experience working in a production environment is preferred but not required. Being IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, and IPC-7711 certified would be a plus. Do you have strong communication and interpersonal skills? Can you work independently? Are you an exceptional problem-solver? If yes, you might just be perfect for this assembly position! Inspect assemblies using 3D AOI system and pass or fail per IPC-A-610 class. Inspect assemblies at Final inspection and pass or fail per IPC-A-610 class. SMT and Final QA SFE certified and maintain that certification. Complete defect tracking in database. Complete AS9102 FA reports and submit to QA. Operate either x-ray machines per work instructions Operate AOI systems per work instructions Run in-line and batch washers per work instruction Use the MES to track time the status of jobs Create and complete non-conformances/DMR's Ability to read, understand, and navigate in Fusion documentation. Help to update procedures and work instructions as needed to match current process. Maintain 6S standards and continually look for ways to improve processes. Follow safety, ESD, ITAR and QMS protocols. Actively participate in Lean activities and embrace change. Follow the procedures as defined in the QMS that pertain to your area or position. Help update procedures and work instructions as needed to match current process. WORK SCHEDULE This full-time assembly position typically works Monday - Thursday from 5:00 am - 3:30 pm and Swing shift from 3:00 pm - 1:30am with possible overtime on Fridays.
