Potash Market is looking for a Deli Clerk to provide quality customer service by maintaining and operating the deli department in an efficient manner that follows store policies. About Potash Markets: Potash Market is a family owned and operated grocery store located at 875 N State and 1575 N Clark. Job Responsibilities and Duties: Provide exceptional customer service Possess basic knowledge about the different types of lunch meats and cheeses, with the ability to make suggestions and sell to customers Great and wait on customers by slicing, cutting, weighing, packaging and pricing products Assist in preparation of food products Stock refrigerated cases and other displays; keep them properly faced at all times and in accordance with department standards Maintain general housekeeping, as well as sanitation and a cleaning program that meets the standards established by the department and all applicable health regulations. Perform other duties as assigned by the head of the department or by other management personnel We are open early and late, 7 days a week so we are able to accommodate most schedules.
