Summit Design and Engineering Services seeking a qualified Bridge Coatings Inspector for a job in the West Virginia area. Requirements : Perform onsite inspections of all coating related activities in accordance with contract documents. Perform inspections utilizing coating inspection equipment. Ensure compliance with contract documents and related laws and regulations for lead removal projects. Keep various project records/ daily reports. Take field measurements of various completed items and make calculations to determine contract pay quantities. Read plans and blueprints. Skills and Qualifications: Basic computer skills including, using an iPad, Microsoft Windows, email, and internet. Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to perform duties without constant supervision and should be able to read resource materials to determine answers to simple inspection requirements. Ability to read and understand plans and other contract documents. Ability to create and or edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents Certifications Preferred: NACE Level I, II, or III SSPC C-3 Summit Design and Engineering is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Affirmative Action.
