Zilli Hospitality Group is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to help us find talented staff that create memorable events! You'll recruit for skilled positions - everything from Event Designers to Catering staff. Recruitment responsibilities include sourcing candidates online and via local colleges, developing and placing ads, reviewing candidates, phone screening, interviewing, background checking, hiring, onboarding, orientating, and training new associates. The individual in this role will be detailed, organized, process-driven, professional and a strong communicator. Job Duties and Responsibilities Include the following, but are not limited to: Collaborates with hiring manager to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria for the catering side of Zilli Hospitality Group. Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards and the needs of the organization. Develops, places and monitors ads. Reviews expressions of interest and selects qualified candidates. Phone screens candidates to ensure communication skills, job qualifications, hours and salary is a match. Schedules interviews, oversees preparation of interview questions, and other hiring and selection materials. Assists with the second and/or third interview processes - attends and conducts interviews with hiring managers. Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or HR Manager during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates and other pertinent details. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies. Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruitment sessions. Receives employee referral leads. Attends and participates in recruitment and staff meetings. Attends and participates in new employee onboarding, orientation, and training. Supports and mentors new employees. Collaborates with hiring managers to determine training and ongoing scheduling needs. Completes daily, weekly, and monthly assigned office paperwork and responsibilities. Works together with the Human Resources Manager to ensure both employment law and company policies, practices and procedures are followed. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience required. 2-4 years of managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. Solid analytical skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Outlook Calendar. Although primarily a Monday-Friday focused work-week, must be flexible to accommodate hours that may include some evenings and weekends. Demonstrated dependability - leads by example. Valid driver's license and access to insured transportation. Personal Characteristics Required for the Talent Acquisition Specialist Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to connect with multiple personalities. Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety or catering roles. Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative. Forward thinking. Excellent follow-up and follow-through skills. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
