Oregon Urology Institute has a Full-Time, URODYNAMIC COORDINATOR opportunity available. Oregon Urology Institute is one of the largest, most advanced urological centers in the Northwest. Oregon Urology Institute provides patients with some of the region's finest medical experts covering every major urological specialty using proven and leading-edge technologies such as robotic surgery, immunotherapy, and radiation therapy. GENERAL DESCRIPTION The primary responsibility of the Urodynamic Coordinator is to perform Urodynamic testing. DUTIES: Performs tests with high degree of precision to ensure accurate diagnosis. May use electromyography to capture information from the bladder - this requires placing electrodes on the patient. Be comfortable collecting urine specimens and placing urethral catheters on male and female patients. Responsibilities include maintaining the status of equipment and supplies. Remain professional and focused to ensure cooperation with the patient, physician, and other staff members. Responsible for patient care, e.g., getting patients in rooms in a timely and professional manner and taking vital signs, weights, and urine specimens. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Graduate of an accredited CMA/RMA/LPN school Urodynamic or Urology experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Graduate of an accredited school for either CMA/RMA/LPN PREFERRED QUALIFICATION Urodynamics/Urology 1-2 years Clinical administration skills Electronic Medical Record Experience Minimum of one-two years of professional experience in a medical practice NOTE : This description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employee may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization. This is a Full-time position . Urodynamic Coordinator wage range: $21.95 to $32.92 per hour, DOE.
