Summary The Business Analyst role is to plan, design, develop, and launch efficient business, financial, and operations systems in support of core organization functions and business processes. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. Th ey will also be responsible for generating and compiling reports based on these findings, complete with probable causes and viable solutions to process and systems issues. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in learning about our current business systems and processes a s well as a natural curiosity for how to be st util ize IT systems for automation and efficiency . They will be able to be engaged with the organization to support and work closely with all business units, subject matter experts, and technical resources to elicit, analyze, communicate, a nd valid ate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, and information systems. Essential Functions Analyze and evaluate current business system and processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement Collaborat e with stakeholders to understand their needs and to gain their support for process improvement initiatives. Identify areas where processes can be improved or streamlined to increase efficiency, reduce costs, or improve quality. Ability to develop process models to document how the business processes work and identify the inputs, outputs, and dependencies. Document the business processes that need to be supported by the IT system and ensure that they are optimized for efficiency and effectiveness. Review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within an existing system. Propose solutions to optimize the business processes and improve efficiency. These solutions may include process redesign, automation, or outsourcing. Ability to test and validate the IT solutions ( developed either internally or externally) to ensure that they meet the business requirements. Monitor and measure the results of process improvement initiatives to ensure they are achieving the desired outcomes and positively impacting the organization. R esponsible for managing projects related to process improvement, including developing project plans, tracking progress, and ensuring that deadlines are met. Including data modeling and working knowledge of IT. Work environment Work is performed in a standard office environment Physical Demands Sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and other office equipment. Ability to sit for extended periods of time during working hours Supervisory Responsibilities None Travel required None Required education and experience A bachelor's degree in computer science , Information Technology, MIS, or a related field. Minimum of 3 + years in any role dedicated to technology or project management. Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst for enterprise Applications . Especially ERP , CRM , BPM or any Telecom applications.
