Character of Position As an Senior Stress Analyst , you will be part of a team that is delivering state of the art solutions in support of the industry's most critical applications. Responsibilities Research, analyze, and create structural engineering specifications using various metallic, non-metallic, and composite materials Utilize computer-aided design, mathematical models, and other computer software to formulate, analyze, and modify structures designed to support manufacturing operations Evaluates models to test damage tolerance, durability, and stability to determine structural configurations Lead efforts in documenting performance records, inspecting damaged or malfunctioning products, and writing technical reports or product manuals Support the development of new methods and processes for the business development team Assist with training or startups (Travel may be required) Follow OSHA safety guidelines, and ITAR compliance Other duties as assigned Skills Research, analyze, and create structural engineering specifications using various metallic, non-metallic, and composite materials Utilize computer-aided design, mathematical models, and other computer software to formulate, analyze, and modify structures designed to support manufacturing operations Evaluate models to test damage tolerance, durability, and stability to determine structural configurations Experience Detailed understanding of static structural analysis and finite element methods Experience and proficiency of at least one modern FEM package Experience in the analysis of complex structures Experience performing stress analysis in a manufacturing environment Superior computer skills, with solid experience in CAD, CAM, and FEM Education High School Diploma or equivalent Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Benefits Referral Program Job Development Training Program Great Holiday Schedule 401k Health, Dental, Vision Insurance Flexible Spending Account Life and Disability Insurance Paid Time Off ADP Discounts Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.
