Job Overview PART TIME The Part-Time Operator will work 24 - 27 hours a week ( 2-3 days a week appox 8 hours/day) along an assembly path performing a specialized task. This position guarantees that manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by maintaining successful workflows. In a fast-paced environment like production, this position is an integral part of the manufacturing process. This employee must be competent and comprehend complex operations. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers. The goal is to ensure production procedures are carried out smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits. Duties and Responsibilities Regular attendance and punctuality Follows instructions from Team Lead to perform specialized task along assembly path Adheres to strict health and safety guidelines as well as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Company policies Tracks records of output; compares with a production schedule Transports raw materials Ensures final products meet high-quality standards Ensures safe use of equipment Contributes to team effort by accomplishing assigned tasks Identifies issues in efficiency; suggest improvements to Team Lead Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Understanding of industry standards and regulations Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work and communicate well with others Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods Self-motivated with a results-driven approach Minimum Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before employees of organization. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
