CFD Research Corporation has an immediate need for an experienced Intelligence Analyst. This individual will support customer site work in Huntsville, AL. This individual will utilize all-source intelligence to analyze foreign weapon technology to include system capabilities, vulnerabilities, and advanced weapon systems. • Applying technical data analysis techniques using various intelligence sources to foreign weapon systems and foreign tactics, techniques, and procedures to characterize threats to US and allied personnel and assets. • Analyze foreign weapon system (missile, radar, C2, and/or directed energy) programs to forecast future technologies, identify new applications of mature technologies, and assess the impact of technology transfers. • Produce timely, logical, and concise analytic reports, documents, assessments, studies, and briefing materials in formats including Microsoft Office tools. • Apply complex analytic methodologies, such as structured analytic techniques, analysis of alternative approaches, examination of biases, and assumptions checks • Identify intelligence gaps, and engage with collection managers, and develop collection requirements. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience, STEM discipline preferred. Has performed in-depth analytic operations and clearly articulating key findings across organizational boundaries. Position requires strong analytic skills, and interest in radar, missile, and/or directed energy weapon topics. Ability to work independently and with minimal oversight. Candidates with experience in weapon system analysis and/or modeling & simulation would be beneficial.
