Unified Group Services is a full-service third-party administrator (TPA) for self-insured group health plans. We are dedicated to providing excellent customer service and the flexibility our customers desire in administering employee benefit plans. Job Summary: This person processes flexible spending eligibility and claims and occasionally may be requested to help other team members process flexible spending claims when someone is out of the office. This job requires an employee to be familiar with computer data entry. This position is also responsible for taking phone calls and responding to emails and faxes concerning their group's flex claims. It is often necessary to assist other flex processors with phone calls regarding their groups during lunches, vacations, etc. as needed. Therefore, this essential team support requires the employee to work inside the office. This position requires excellent customer service skills and teamwork. A positive attitude is a must, and this person must be available for overtime when needed especially during November, December, and January. As with any job, there may be other tasks assigned when necessary. Job Qualifications: High school diploma or G.E.D. Some college is helpful, but not required. Polite, courteous, and professional phone skills. Excellent attendance Excellent customer service and a desire to exceed customer expectations. Familiarity with word processing programs, Microsoft Outlook, and working knowledge of WLT is helpful. Good organization Self-motivated and self-starter. Willingness to learn. Positive attitude. Positive team player willing to help others. Willingness to attend training workshops if necessary. Essential Functions: Attention to detail, data entry, and excellent phone skills are key components of this job as well as being a positive team player.
