Job Description: Compiles records concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, and product for the purpose of maintaining accurate and appropriate inventory levels. Responsibility and Duties: Completes weekly Ingredient cycle count, investigates, and reports reasons for discrepancies. Calculates pricing per unit of measure on raw materials and packaging materials. Oversees off-site concentrates storage for facility, sister facilities. This includes authorizing the release from dock, scheduling deliveries to and from storage sites, and invoicing sister facilities. Prepares daily efficiency report and works with plant personnel to ensure accuracy of reports (Gotham). Preforms Order Selecting daily. Reconciles efficiently GL 2015 account and requests missing invoices for receipts older than 20 days from vendors. Acts as a back-up for non-inventory AP when Payroll Coordinator is out of the office. Miscellaneous duties as assigned by Assistant Controller as needed. Compares inventories to office records or computes figures from records such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory. Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies. Prepares reports such as inventory reports, usage repots, item activity reports and sales reports. Compiles information on receipt or disbursement of raw materials and packaging supplies, and computes inventory balance, price, and cost. Calculates pricing per unit of measure on raw materials and packaging materials. Oversees off-site storage for facilities. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as production schedules, inventory reports, sales forecasts, safety rules, motor carrier regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram form. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficient typing and computer skills including knowledge of Accounting software; Inventory software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software (MS Excel), Word Processing software (MS Word) and Email software (Office365). The individual should also have knowledge of and be competent in the use of Warehouse Management System software and hardware, including hand held scanning devices. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, however the employee may be required to enter production areas where the noise level is usually loud and hearing protection is required.
