Union wireless in Mountain View, WY 82939 is seeking to hire a full-Time Utility Locator. Overview Responds to telephone requests and gives information concerning location of underground utility lines. Uses electronic detection and reads maps and blueprints. Informs construction contractors and others excavating near company installations of buried line locations to prevent safety hazards and damage to company equipment, utilizing plat and distribution line maps. Follow safety procedures and laws. Qualifications 1 to 2 years of line locating experience recommended. Utility construction and/or electrical technology background or training preferred. Basic understanding of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) concepts preferred. Must be: 21 years or older Have a valid driver's license.
