Lube Technician

Department: Truck Lube Schedules: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM Saturday shifts available PRIMARY PURPOSE: Complete routine maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes and other basic maintenance procedures performed in the Truck Lube Department. EXPECTATIONS: Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Expected to follow the Company's safety rules and safety policies. Communicate with drivers regarding their needs, and up sell to customers. Perform services properly and in an acceptable time frame. Perform inspections and fill out reports to indicate issues needing attention. Complete tasks on daily task list. Provide a positive experience for customers. Follow the truck lube center processes. Promote positive company image by professional conduct and complete truck appearance. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE : Ability to add and subtract using whole numbers. Valid driver's license with dependable transportation. Class A CDL highly preferred, but not required. Minor mechanical knowledge is a plus. Must have and follow Housby's Core Values. EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED required PHYSICAL DEMANDS : Ability to view a computer monitor. Alpha/numeric keyboarding. Ability to lift up to 50 pound. Standing, climbing, stooping, squatting, walking, and reaching for long periods of time. WORK ENVIRONMENT : The work environment for this position is varied due to the differences in our work site. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, electrical, vibrations, fumes or airborne particles, toxic and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to very loud. Works indoors and out. Exposed to some outside weather.
