The Retreat offers an excellent benefits package, including health insurance and generous PTO. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. May also work nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed. Remote work is not available for this role. PURPOSE/SCOPE OF POSITION Team leader for the Shelter's Night and Weekend Advocates. Protects clients' confidentiality at all times and ensures the safety and security of all Shelter staff and residents. Maintains the Shelter residence and property in good condition at all times. Provides direct coaching to Shelter staff and residents, operating in an atmosphere of dignity, respect, and trust. OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee Shelter operations under the supervision of the Shelter Assistant Director Organize food pantry, properly store food, and follow proper food handling and cooking safety protocols Monitor and document food allergies and ensure all staff know about concerns and special needs With Assistant Shelter Director, manage time off requests and ensure Shelter coverage Manage donation intake and distribution; complete proper documentation Implement evening and weekend activities (enrichment and recreational) at least two nights per week QUALIFICATIONS Associate's degree in Social Work or related field and 2+ years of experience in any of the following areas: social work, women's studies, psychology, counseling, or Human Services Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the duties of the position.
