Overview Summary Designs, develops, implements and evaluates talent development programs in support of Logicalis Talent Development strategy. Under purview of Manager, Talent Development, engages in and promotes high performance culture through positively influencing and supporting variety of talent development initiatives within assigned area of responsibility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Plans, organizes, and implements wide range of training activities: o Identifies and assesses training needs by conducting Training Needs Analysis (Assessment) through variety of means: personal interviews, surveys, focus groups, work observations, and documentation reviews. o Defines learning objectives based on requirements and using sound instructional design expertise. o Develops new learning courses using blended learning solutions. o Creates interactive, multimedia presentations. o Conducts workshops and seminars live and virtual. o Directs structured learning experiences taking into consideration learning impact through 70 20 10 rule. o Evaluates training effectiveness through different levels of evaluation and modifies training programs accordingly; maintains and updates existing training content. * Fosters professional growth of employees through career development initiatives. * Acts as internal consultant by analyzing and recommending solutions regarding training and development issues as directed by Manager, Talent Development. * Supports and participates in collaborating with and leveraging key internal relationships, departments and functional units, to meet development needs of organization. * Recommends and implements changes to procedures, processes and plans to increase departmental efficiency and effectiveness. * Actively contributes to strategy of Talent Development team. * Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends, assesses impact, and provides consultation and assistance on development of new and effective ways to train and develop employees. * Continues to develop expertise in own area and provides guidance to other team members. * Demonstrates and actively promotes an understanding and commitment to the mission of Logicalis through performing behaviors consistent with the organization's values. * Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations as well as policies and procedures of Logicalis in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behaviors. * Supports and conducts self in a manner consistent with customer service expectations. Education/Experience/Technical Requirements/Certifications Education * Bachelors Degree in a related field. Experience / Technical Requirements * 5 years in related area with experience in: o Instructional design and development. o Needs assessment and analysis. o Adult learning principles. o Interactive learning methods. o Blended learning delivery. o Facilitation in live and virtual environments. o Evaluation of training through different levels of evaluation. o Consulting to business leaders, including coaching and leadership development. * Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in talent development, specifically in areas of career development, competency frameworks and performance management. * Proficient use of all Microsoft Office applications. May consider an equivalent combination of education and experience.
