Guardian Healthcare has positions available for individuals interested in an Administrator in Training program. Positions are available throughout Pennsylvania and may be selected based on site need and individual location. This is a full time paid program that gives you the experience needed to become a licensed Nursing Home Administrator. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF ASSISTANT NURSING HOME ADMINISTRATOR AITs receive practical, on-the-job training in a Skilled Nursing environment under the direct supervision of an experienced Nursing Home Administrator. Guardian's AIT program can be completed in the diverse environment that Guardian has to offer. This program is designated to provide orientation and training to support new Facility Leaders in their new development. Guardian is excited to help you reach your career goals in life. During your program you will work closely in the following departments at one of our skilled nursing facilities: Administration Experience will be developed through interactive mentoring with the Business Office, Human Resources, Admissions, Social Services, Dietary, Maintenance, and Housekeeping. These areas will focus on domains related to finance, customer service and support, as well as environmental. Clinical Leadership Experience with the Medical Director, Director of Nursing, and the Director of Rehab. Focus domains are related to customer care, support, and services. Marketing & Outreach Experience with the Director of Business Development and Activities Director. Domains will focus on Customer care, support, services as well as finance. Administrator Experience with the Administrator of the facility. Domain focus in management and leadership. There will also be a final project that demonstrates collected knowledge from all domains. QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ASSITANT NURSING HOME ADMINISTRATOR (AIT) Completed 120 Hour Course Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field preferred but will consider candidates with experience commensurate to a 4 year degree Letters of Interest and Recommendation submitted with resume or may requested prior to or upon interview ABOUT GUARDIAN HEALTHCARE Guardian Healthcare is both our name and our philosophy.
