Description:
Caregiver candidates should be dependable, friendly, professional, and experienced in working with geriatric clients. Responsibilities will vary depending on client need, but one must be willing to do visits in the clients homes (visits are typically 2-8 hours each). Candidates must possess a DCW (Direct Care Worker) Certificate of Training or be a Certified Caregiver, or be willing to obtain these certifications. Caregivers (Personal Care Attendants) are sent into our client's homes to assist with activities of daily living to include bathing, grooming, meal preparation, and light housekeeping etc. You will also provide companionship. This could be a game of checkers, scrap-booking or anything your particular client is interested in. Job Requirements We can direct you in obtaining these items: TB Skin Test CPR and First Aid Card Proof of current auto insurance Car Registration, if driving Physical (Physician's release to work) within the last year. Fingerprint Clearance Card
