Location Timmins, ON Purpose Leads and manage the protection of all employees, contractors and assets of all Newmont Porcupine sites security in accordance with established Newmont policies and procedures and to apply security best practices to the protection of company personnel, assets, processes and product, all while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, safety policies, procedures and position directives. Apply the best industrial Security practices for the protection of Company personnel, dependents and assets. Safety and Sustainability Expectations: Ensure and promote a safe and healthy work environment Promote and adhere to Newmont Safety and Sustainability policies Conduct regular site inspections Assist with conducting monthly safety meetings with security staff Promote and ensure compliance with the principles of Newmont’s Fatality Risk Management requirements Essential Duties Manage, organize, maintain and supervise security for Newmont Porcupine mine sites, including Dome / Mill site, Hollinger Open Pit, Hoyle Pond Underground mine, Borden Underground mine, Pamour mine, and all other closed sites or property owned by Newmont. Ensure the optimum safety of all employees, contractors and equipment and equipment used by security team. Manage, organize, and maintain the Security Systems, including access.
