Teck is looking for an experienced Senior Technician, Analytical Services (Temporary 12 months) to join our team at our Trail Operations, one of the world's largest fully integrated zinc and lead smelting and refining complexes. Reporting to the Group Leader, Analytical Services, the Senior Technician performs and, in the absence of a Sr. Technician, can direct analyses in any lab area. The laboratory work encompasses a wide variety of routine and non-routine samples. Performs and directs analyses in the Analytical Services laboratories on a wide range of routine and non-routine samples; maintains computer related programs, including updates and ensures system data is archived appropriately. The technologist is expected to be comfortable with routine instrument maintenance and assisting the Instrument Mechanics. This role is based in the welcoming community of Trail, situated in the beautiful West Kootenay region of southeastern British Columbia. Here you will find outdoor adventure at your fingertips!
