For individuals who can take the initiative but work well within a team. The role Fugro are looking for a workshop technician or senior technician for our Aberdeen workshop. This is a role for someone with a hands-on engineering/technical background, ideally with experience of working closely with a small team and not afraid of driving improvements to processes and methods. Tasks will be varied, and include the repair of equipment and operating test equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring the work is delivered to the required standard in a timely manner and to budget whilst working to the company’s Health and Safety standards. You will need a disciplined and systematic approach whilst prioritising, scheduling and delivering on time. As well as managing stock levels you will ensure that tools are kept in good condition and repaired or replaced accordingly. This role requires an effective communicator as you will be collaborating.
