Description:

Software Developer, Tampa, $80-100k Responsible for the maintenance of one of our cloud-based products, including systems maintenance, capacity upgrades and disaster recovery. Develop and implement Cloud Operating Procedures - Security policies, compliance standards and access/usage procedures Design and maintain a systems architecture plan that provides for the scalability, performance and supportability of the cloud environment Deliver technological requirements with a focus on Cloud solutions in addition to others such as server, desktop, local service, LAN, WAN, data center, mainframe, medium sized server configuration, and backup services to meet business needs. Participates in design reviews; validates technology approach and associated work products on medium sized projects to ensure adherence to company guidelines. Proactively monitor and protect the customer and cloud to ensure continuous operation Deploy enterprise level software to both public and private cloud environments. Develop, deploy and test upgrade packages. Bachelor degree required Linux system administration (Ubuntu, Amazon Linux) Configuration management (ansible, chef, puppet, salt) Scripting in multiple languages (Python, bash, PHP, Ruby) Continuous integration (Jenkins) VMware or OpenStack knowledge Understanding of cloud computing such as cloud storage, automation, and orchestration In depth knowledge of IP networks including Firewalls, Web Servers, Routers and Switches required Strong Network related troubleshooting skills General knowledge of network security Software development Penetration testing Security audits
