About Our Opportunity The Department of Health and Wellness is in a time of transformation, and we are looking for a Senior Executive Director to join our team to play a pivotal role in these changes. As the Senior Executive Director of Modernized Benefit Programs, you will be part of a strong senior leadership team focused on setting of strategic objectives, policy direction and performance standards to ensure that population health needs are met and continuous improvements in population health outcomes achieved. The team is collectively accountable for the allocation of required funding for departmental operations and insured and uninsured services and for the measuring and monitoring of established health system performance outcomes. These programs and services include: MSI administration, Pharmacare, Dental Care, and other benefit programs. The team is also responsible to support transformation efforts in alignment with Action for Health goals and improving care and supports for Nova Scotians.
