Personal Advisor Leaving Care- Children, Young People and Learning- Horsham Are you a passionate, dedicated Personal Advisor looking for your next role 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a to join the Children, Young people and Learning team based in Horsham Full time- 37 hours per week9am-5.30pm Umbrella rate- £17.59 - £21.70 per hour The role: This is a hybrid role, to be in the office atleast 1 day a week, in agreement with manager. This role is plays a key part of a persons future, between the age of 16 and 25. Working directly with people who are leaving care, helping to backss and meet learning, social and personal needs through Pathway Planning. Working with some individuals with mental health and trauma needs. Report any sign or suspicion of abuse to supervisor or manager. Using professional knowledge, acting as an advocate whilst dealing with other professionals from other agencies the service user may need to access Maintain accurate records and produce case report of all work undertaken. Work whilst implementing policy and procedure at all times. Responsible for small expenditures from an agreed budget. Maintain confidentiality, security and maintenance of all care leavers records, manual and/or computerised. Requirements: UK experience of working with children as a personal advisor or in a children social care setting. Relevant degree or qualification/experience demonstrating extensive knowledge on guiding and advising young people. An understanding of working with young people in crisis An understanding of vocational pathways for young people Evidence of backssment skills, reviews and risk management with young people. Experience of managing levels of risk within a case load Knowledge of local legislation and policy developments regarding young people DBS on the update service Recruitment is done in line with safe recruitment practices. 4Recruitment Services is an equal opportunities employer.
