Seeking a motivated employee to run the overall maintenance of the mobile home community and rental properties. The right candidate must have an eye for detail be able/prepared to work in all weather conditions. The perfect candidate is willing to be on-call 24/7 for emergency maintenance. Candidate must have reliable transportation with a valid drivers license and may be required to use personal vehicle on occasion. As well as basic knowledge of power tools (i.e. weed eaters, lawn mowers, chainsaws, etc.) and the ability to lift approximately 50 lbs. This maintenance technician position is responsible for: Delivering notices to tenants Supervise maintenance work done on community by outside contractors brought in as deemed necessary by park manager Participate in work orders provided by management Custodial work, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning windows, etc. Small handy man jobs (light electrical repairs, plumbing, painting and interior and exterior upkeep) Inspection and approval of all move-ins and move-outs and compliance with park and government requirements at installation Assist in on-the-job training of new maintenance staff Inspection and approval of all move-ins and move-outs and compliance with park and government requirements at installation Perform watering, weeding, mowing, trimming and fertilizing of common areas as well as individual lots Shovel snow and drive snowplow in common areas as needed (if applicable) Pool Maintenance (if applicable) Other duties as assigned by management
