Closing Date: January 5, 2024 Reporting to the General Supervisor, Maintenance the Senior Engineer is responsible for providing support for all site water quality management activities. This position provides leadership and mentorship for site-based maintenance functions including pilots, diversions, and other existing and future operations to meet the Plant Availability, Reliability, and Integrity objectives in an efficient, and cost-effective manner. To be successful, we are looking for someone who has outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with effective trouble-shooting and problem-solving abilities. You will be a self-motivated leader who can multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated abilities in leadership, organization, and planning as well as the ability to remain adaptable in a dynamic environment is vital in this role. Responsibilities: Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures Work closely with internal partners to manage maintenance activities including contractor and field engineering support, work order approval and prioritization, shutdown planning and execution, and cost control Coordinate MOC activities across sites for approvals, implementation and close-out Develop a reliability program that balances preventative maintenance, spare part inventory, and trade readiness with costs and facility availability requirements Direct the development and completion of engineering deliverables to improve reliability and decrease costs Develop maintenance budgets annually and participate in detailed.
