Securiguard is currently seeking Loss Prevention Guards to join our growing team in Toronto. Skills/Qualifications Requirements: - Preferred to have 2+ year of Uniformed Security experience in a retail, malls, hospital and College. - Must have 1 year experience as Loss Prevention Guard in high profile Retail stores - Be able and willing to work at different stores in Toronto and GTA - Strong communication skills - written, verbal and listening - Valid Security Guard License and First Aid CPR - Demonstrated ability to prepare professional security reports with meticulous detail and grammar - Willingness to complete all required training modules that include Lawful Subject Restraint, Crisis Management - both of which require annual recertification - Knowledge of Canada Criminal Code, 494(c) and TPA - Conflict Resolution and De-Escalation skills - Ability/willingness to conduct arrests in appropriate and sanctioned situations - Must be comfortable to stand or patrol for 8-12 hour shifts. - Have an availability of 6 days a week - Use of Force Training (An Asset) What is in it for you?
