We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and the skills to handle a fast-paced kitchen environment. This is an on-site, full-time position, with the potential of weekend or evening shifts depending on the production schedule. If you do not have a valid Work Permit in progress or approved, please apply when you do have one. Full time employees are eligible to join our competitive benefits program after six months of employment; a portion of the monthly fees will be paid by cochu. Skills & Qualifications Valid Canadian Work Permit Chocolate theory and understanding is required, with minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a commercial chocolate production facility. Experience in molding and capping bonbons by hand, making 3D figures and bars, hand-decorating detailed molds, making ganaches and caramels and enrobing by hand. A desire to take on new opportunities and challenges. The ability and drive identify areas of improvement in our processes. A strong attention to detail. Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal. Key Responsibilities Working directly with chocolate in various capacities, such as molding and capping bonbons, making 3D figures and bars, etc. by hand.
