About the role This position will proactively manage all aspects of customer rebate reporting and contract compliance working directly with the Finance, Operations and Commercial teams. Accountability for managing terms, conditions, expiration dates and performance measures of customer Rebate/ Contract compliance to ensure goals are met for both the customer and BSC. Professional Rebate/ Contract compliance will improve control over BSC revenue management and help identify opportunities to raise BSC’s profile within senior hospital management by understanding the RFP/ Contract influencing factors. Your responsibilities will include: Calculating new rebate accrual rates and processing customer rebate settlements (including product technology credits) while maintaining professional documentation and filing practices. Ensure rebates are accurately set-up by Contract Specialists by monitoring, maintaining and modifying rebate accrual rates based projected sales vs contractual rebate obligations. Ensuring new hospital vendors are requested and properly setup for rebate payments. Measure and update key customer rebate contract status on a monthly or quarterly basis depending on materially (all customer accounts must be analyzed and updated annually) to ensure BSL volume commitments are met and customer liabilities are satisfied in a timely manner.
