We are looking for a Planner / Expeditor to work on a permanent basis for a well-established Manufacturing Company based in the Wigan area. This role is a perfect match for individuals who excel in supply chain management and thrive in solving complex problems. Salary circa £25,000 per annum Hours - 36.5 hours per week Monday - Friday Responsibilities Play a key role in managing and exceeding complex operational requirements. Analyse customer orders and the build plan, ensuring the team delivers exceptional service. Expedite Bill of Materials BOM requirements with internal and external partners, emphasizing teamwork and communication. Keep track of build plan achievements and resource availability, showcasing your organizational skills. Align delivery schedules with build plans, minimizing material shortages and maintaining robust supplier relations. Regularly update and refine the Resource Planner, contributing to process enhancements. Report on performance, address material shortages, and suggest improvements to maintain production flow. Strengthen ties with suppliers, ensuring timely deliveries and developing effective strategies to prevent future shortages. Requirements Proficiency in Excel and SAP. Experience in Supply Chain Management. Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities.
